Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Districts: Census geocoder at City Hall gives CD-16, SD-37, AD-93. A 5x5 grid of geocoder points (16 inside the city) all fell in NY-16 and SD-37; the Assembly splits between AD-93 (9 points) and AD-88 (7 points), matching Burdick's own page ('approximately half of the city of White Plains'). Only City Hall's state seats are recorded as people.
  • Candidates: Westchester County Board of Elections (citizenparticipation.westchestercountyny.gov) robots.txt has 'User-agent: ClaudeBot / Disallow: /' (checked 2026-10-31), so the county's certified list was not read. elections.ny.gov not used (Cloudflare challenge to other agents this month). The only official list read is the Board of Elections in the City of New York contest list (printed 9/11/2026, 'tentative, subject to change'), which covers the statewide contests and NY-16 (Westchester + Bronx). Captured: Governor (Hochul/Adams, Democratic and Working Families, v Blakeman/Hood, Republican, Conservative and Vote Affordable) and NY-16 (Latimer, Democratic, v Cinquemani, Republican). State Comptroller (DiNapoli v Hernandez) and Attorney General (James v Komatireddy) are on that list but outside the brief. SD-37 and AD-93 candidates are NOT captured. Candidate street addresses printed on the list were not copied.
  • State Senate SD-37: www.nysenate.gov answers a Cloudflare 'Just a moment' 403 even to robots.txt (2026-10-31), so the sitting senator is not recorded. A web search shows nysenate.gov listing Shelley B. Mayer '(D, WF) 37th Senate District' — unverified, for the coordinator; not used as a source.
  • Municipal: Mayor Justin Brasch from the city's Mayor's Office page; six council members (elected at large, 4-year terms, per the Common Council page) from the Members page, with their official @whiteplainsny.gov emails; Victoria Presser is marked '(President)'. Phones printed on the page were not copied. Mayor's party not printed. The council is non-partisan on the city page (party null).
  • Next municipal election: White Plains city offices are elected in odd-numbered years (New York's even-year election law covers towns and counties, not cities), so the next city general election is November 2027. This rests on the cycle, not on a list read — the Westchester list could not be checked for any 2026 city special election.
  • Robots/terms: cityofwhiteplains.com (CivicPlus; allows city pages, Crawl-delay 10 honoured; no reuse terms beyond a 'Copyright Notices' link), vote.nyc (allows /sites/default/files), nyassembly.gov (blocks GPTBot only), clerk.house.gov and unitedstates.github.io (no robots.txt, 404), governor.ny.gov (allows), geocoding.geo.census.gov (no robots.txt). standsFor null for everyone (no candidate statements read). No Ballotpedia, Wikipedia or news used as a source.
