Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Scope: Staten Island is a borough (Richmond County) of New York City. Municipal rows: the city-wide officers (Mayor Mamdani, Public Advocate Williams, Comptroller Levine — carried from us-brooklyn, originally us-nyc read 2026-10-15), the Staten Island Borough President (Vito Fossella) and District Attorney (Michael E. McMahon) carried from the us-nyc record (statenislandusa.com and statenislandda.org, read 2026-10-15, not re-read), and the three Council members whose districts the Council page places in Staten Island (49 Hanks, 50 Carr — shared with Brooklyn, 51 Morano), read 2026-11-01 from council.nyc.gov/districts (Crawl-delay 10 honoured).
  • Candidates: Board of Elections in the City of New York 'The Contest List — General Election 2026', Richmond section, printed 9/11/2026 and headed 'TENTATIVE / SUBJECT TO CHANGE' — still the only 2026 general list linked from vote.nyc/page/list-candidates on 2026-11-01. The list prints candidates' home addresses: none copied. Fusion voting: party = every line as printed; partyShort = the major line. State Comptroller, Attorney General, judges and the charter proposals are on the ballot but not recorded as people.
  • Districts: Census Geocoder (robots 404) at Borough Hall (40.6425, -74.0773, coordinates only): Richmond County / Staten Island borough, CD-11 (120th), SD-23, AD-61. Not recorded as rows (City Hall rule), per nyassembly.gov/mem (read 2026-11-01) and the BOE list: AD-62 Michael Reilly (R; unopposed on the 2026 list as 'Michael W. Reilly Jr.'), AD-63 Sam Pirozzolo (R), AD-64 Michael Tannousis (R); SD-24 Andrew J. Lanza (R-C, on the 2026 list vs Alexis Rodriguez D).
  • State: AD-61 Charles D. Fall from nyassembly.gov/mem (official email and headshot linked; district and Albany office addresses and phones on that page not copied). SD-23 Jessica Scarcella-Spanton rests on the BOE's certified 2024 Richmond return (Statement and Return Report for Certification, certified Tuesday, December 3, 2024) — nysenate.gov not requested (Cloudflare challenge in earlier runs). Senators Schumer and Gillibrand, Governor Hochul and Lt Governor Delgado carried from us-brooklyn / us-nyc; Delgado is not on the 2026 list.
  • Next city elections: Mayor, Public Advocate, Comptroller, Borough President and all Council seats in November 2029; Richmond County District Attorney per the us-nyc record. No home addresses, phones or personal emails in any row; standsFor null for everyone. Nothing was blocked for Staten Island (vote.nyc, council.nyc.gov, nyassembly.gov, house.gov robots allow the pages used).
