Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Municipal: Mayor from phila.gov (Office of the Mayor), City Controller from controller.phila.gov/about, District Attorney from phillyda.org (elected city-wide; Philadelphia is a consolidated city-county), 10 district + 7 at-large council members from phlcouncil.com/council-members (retrieved 2026-10-14). The council page prints no party; municipal party fields are left null rather than inferred (Philadelphia municipal offices are partisan; the official historical results site is an iframe app and was not read).
  • phila.gov Terms of Use: all rights reserved; 'Distribution or republication in any other form or for any other purpose' is 'strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of the City' and commercial use is prohibited — phila.gov / vote.phila.gov material is used as single facts only (names, offices, parties), no text or images copied. Mayor photo is linked only.
  • Candidates: the City Commissioners' 2026 General Election 'Candidates for Office' page (vote.phila.gov, read 2026-10-14; no updated-date printed) — names and parties as printed there (upper case). It lists Governor/Lt Governor (3 tickets: Democratic, Republican, Libertarian; no Green ticket appears on Philadelphia's list), Congress PA-2/3/5, state Senate 2/4/8 and 26 state House districts. Pennsylvania Department of State's own certified list was not located; county lists elsewhere differ on minor-party gubernatorial tickets.
  • Only the city-hall state districts and statewide/federal offices are recorded as people. Districts covering the city: 3 congressional (PA-2, PA-3, PA-5), 7 state Senate districts (palegis.us shows 7 senators serving Philadelphia (part); SD-1 Saval contains City Hall and is not up in 2026), 26 state House districts (palegis.us; all 26 appear on the 2026 ballot). Ben Waxman (HD-182) is unopposed on the list.
  • PA-3 is an open seat: Dwight Evans (sitting) is not on the general-election list; Chris Rabb (sitting HD-200 state rep) is the Democratic nominee.
  • U.S. Senators: senate.gov and the senators' .senate.gov sites returned HTTP 403 (bot block, not bypassed); congress.gov also 403. Senators taken from the CC0 @unitedstates congress-legislators dataset (legislators-current.json). bioguide.congress.gov disallows all robots and was not used.
  • Next Philadelphia municipal election (Mayor, Controller, all 17 council seats): November 2, 2027 (general), primary May 2027. The District Attorney and City Controller were last elected in November 2025 (next 2029).
  • No home addresses, phones or personal emails recorded. standsFor left null for everyone (no candidate statements read).
  • Write-in candidates and primary losers excluded.
