Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Municipal: Paducah Board of Commissioners from https://www.paducahky.gov/departments/administration/elected-officials, retrieved 2026-11-01 (Mayor George P. Bray; Mayor Pro Tem Sandra Wilson; Commissioners Raynarldo Henderson, Robert Buz Smith, Dujuan Thomas). Government Structure page: "the Mayor and four Commissioners elected at large by the citizens on a non-partisan basis. The Mayor is elected for a four-year term and Commissioners for a two-year term." Emails are the official @paducahky.gov addresses behind the page's own mailto links (the page encodes them; decoded); the City Hall phone printed there is not copied. Mayor next elected November 2028 (inferred from "2021-Present" and the four-year term).
  • Candidates: Kentucky Secretary of State candidate filings, election "2026 General Election" (web.sos.ky.gov/CandidateFilings/Default.aspx?id=3 US Senator, id=4 US Representative, id=11 State Senator, id=12 State Representative) and the county filings form (countyfilings.aspx, McCracken, Mayor and City Legislative Body; ASP.NET form posted with the page's own view state, no login/CAPTCHA), retrieved 2026-10-31. These are the official filings lists; the SoS prints withdrawn/disqualified filers in a separate section, which was excluded. The lists print P.O. box/mailing addresses and emails (mostly personal) — none copied. Write-ins skipped (Thomas Michael Murphy, US Senator). No Paducah mayor filing (county search: "No matches found."). The county list prints both "PADUCAH CITY COMMISSION" and "PADUCAH CITY COMMISSIONER" as the office label; both read as the four at-large commission seats. Five filers for four seats.
  • Districts: Census geocoder (robots 404) at City Hall: KY-1; 2026 State Senate District 2; State House District 1. McCracken County is also split among House Districts 2 (Kim Holloway), 3 (Randy Bridges) and 6 (Chris Freeland) per the legislature's member list; only City Hall's HD-1 is recorded. Paducah is wholly in Senate District 2 by county (SD-2 covers all of McCracken).
  • Sitting members: Comer from house.gov/representatives; Senators McConnell and Paul from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (senate.gov not used). Carroll and Rudy from legislature.ky.gov member lists and profiles (official @kylegislature.gov emails; photos linked). Governor from governor.ky.gov.
  • Not recorded: McCracken County offices, Paducah Independent Schools board, judges. standsFor null for everyone (no candidate statements read).
