Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Candidates (federal and state): Florida Division of Elections Candidate Tracking System, 2026 General Election (elecid 20261103-GEN), Office Group ALL, Status 'ALL (except WIT/DNQ)', County = Clay, retrieved 2026-11-01 (dos.elections.myflorida.com has no robots.txt — 404). Kept Qualified / Unopposed rows for U.S. Senate, FL-4, Governor (with running mates), SD-6 and HD-11. Dropped Defeated (primary losers), write-ins (WRI), Cabinet (Attorney General Uthmeier v Rodriguez, CFO Ingoglia v Taddeo, Agriculture Simpson v Mendoza Atkins), judicial and State Attorney/Public Defender rows, and HD-20 (Sapp v Butler), which covers other parts of Clay County. Statewide rows (Senate, Governor, DeSantis, Scott) are the same names as in us-sarasota (2026-10-31) and were checked against the Clay list. Candidate detail pages (which print addresses) were not opened. The Clay County Supervisor of Elections site was not used.
  • Districts: Census geocoder at Town Hall (2042 Park Ave) returned Orange Park town, CD-4, SD-6 and HD-11 (120th Congress and 2026 State Legislative layers). A 0.007-degree grid gave 24 points inside the town, all CD-4 / SD-6 / HD-11.
  • Federal officeholders from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (retrieved 2026-11-01; senate.gov / house.gov not used). Governor DeSantis row reused from the 2026-10-15 us-jacksonville reading (flgov.com disallows Claude agents). flsenate.gov/Senators/s6 (robots: User-agent * allows /Senators/; Crawl-delay 10) shows Senator Jennifer Bradley, Republican. flhouse.gov Representatives list shows Sam Garrison, Republican, District 11 (term 11/2024 - 11/2026).
  • Municipal: Town of Orange Park Town Council page (www.townoforangepark.com; robots.txt: User-agent * disallows only /undefined* and three I_*.aspx patterns; no ClaudeBot/anthropic-ai group), retrieved 2026-11-01: five council members elected at large by numbered seat to three-year terms; the Council picks its Mayor and Vice-Mayor (Sandlin Mayor and Benefield Vice-Mayor since May 19, 2026). Official @townop.com emails as printed; council members' phones are printed on the page and were NOT copied. Non-partisan.
  • Town elections: the Town Clerk 'Town Elections' page (same site) shows the 2026 cycle — 'Open Seats: Seat 1 and Seat 2', qualifying noon February 2-6, 2026 — and quotes the charter: a regular election 'on the second Tuesday in April' when more than two qualify, with a runoff after. Sandlin was re-elected unopposed (Seat 2) and Benefield re-elected (Seat 1). The next regular town election is in April 2027 (Seat 3, Taylor, sworn in May 21, 2024 for three years — inferred from the term, not stated as a date on the page).
