Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Candidates: Oklahoma State Election Board 'NOVEMBER / 2026 List of Elections' (https://hosting.okelections.gov/electionlist.html, linked from oklahoma.gov/elections/elections-results/next-election.html, page last modified 2026-09-02), Oklahoma County section, retrieved 2026-10-22. It prints name and party only. Names title-cased; printed form kept in ballotName / runningBallotName. Kept every candidate printed for U.S. Senate, OK-3/4/5 and Governor. Oklahoma does not print unopposed candidates or offices settled at the primary, so city hall's SD-46 and HD-92 are absent from it; they were checked in the State Election Board's 'Candidates for Elective Office 2026' filing book (compiled 2026-04-03; it prints candidate city only, not copied beyond the name). The live filing portal filings.okelections.gov returns HTTP 403 to robots.txt and was not used. No standsFor captured; no candidate websites are printed on the list.
  • U.S. Senators: senate.gov and the members' senate.gov sites return Akamai HTTP 403 (robots.txt included); not bypassed. James Lankford from the State Election Board 2024 officer roster (which lists Lankford and Markwayne Mullin); Alan Armstrong from the Governor's 2026-03-24 appointment release (Mullin resigned on confirmation as Secretary of Homeland Security; Armstrong's term ends January 2027 and he is not on the ballot). The Mullin seat is the 2026 Senate race: Kevin Hern (R, the sitting OK-1 Representative), N'Kiyla Jasmine Thomas (D), Sevier White (L), Ron Meinhardt and Curtis Stinnett (Independent).
  • Sitting U.S. Representatives from https://www.house.gov/representatives (Oklahoma table), retrieved 2026-10-22: Frank Lucas (OK-3), Tom Cole (OK-4), Stephanie Bice (OK-5), all Republican and all on the November ballot. house.gov shows no photos; congress.gov not used, so no federal photos are linked.
  • Congressional and legislative districts covering the city: Census TIGERweb (tigerWMS_Current) Oklahoma City place polygon (GEOID 4055000) sampled on a 150x150 grid (13,068 points inside the city, enclaves such as Nichols Hills and The Village excluded by ring parity). 120th Congress map: OK-5 (6,786 points), OK-3 (3,177), OK-4 (3,104). 2026 State Senate: 17 districts (SD-15, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 28, 30, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48); 2026 State House: 31 districts (HD-20, 27, 28, 36, 39, 41, 43, 47, 53, 54, 56, 60, 81-85, 87-97, 99, 100, 101). Slivers below the ~0.4 km grid spacing could be missed. Only city hall's legislators are listed, per the brief.
  • City hall (200 N Walker Ave, 73102) geocodes to Oklahoma County, OK-5, 2026 State Senate District 46 and State House District 92. SD-46: Mark Mann (D) is the 2024 roster's holdover senator and the only 2026 filer, so he is unopposed and not on the November ballot; oksenate.gov serves a Sucuri JavaScript challenge to scripts and was not run, so his current membership is from the roster. HD-92: Sam Wargin Grimaldo (Democrat) per okhouse.gov's member listing (retrieved 2026-10-22); the 2026 filing book shows HD-92 full and unexpired terms, both contested only by two Democrats, so they were settled at the June 16 primary (results.okelections.us is a JavaScript app and was not read) and he is not marked running.
  • Governor Kevin Stitt (R) from oklahoma.gov/governor; term-limited, not on the ballot. Governor candidates: Mike Mazzei (R), Cyndi Munson (D), Orlando Lynn Bush, Robert E Brooks Sr and Jerry Griffin (Independent).
  • Municipal: Mayor and eight ward Council Members (non-partisan; four-year terms). www.okc.gov returns Akamai 'Access Denied' (HTTP 403) to direct fetch, including robots.txt; not bypassed. The roster was read from the search-engine index of the city's own pages (City Council page and each ward page), retrieved 2026-10-22; rows are marked unofficial and should be re-verified when okc.gov is reachable. The index's copy of the main City Council page was stale (it still listed Barbara Peck for Ward 3 and Nikki Nice for Ward 7); the individual ward pages (Katrina Bedell Avers, Camal Pennington) and the city's own news were used instead. Ward emails are only those the index showed on the city's ward pages (ward4@, ward6@). Oklahoma City is council-manager: City Manager, City Auditor, City Clerk and Municipal Counselor are appointed, so there is no other city-wide elected office.
  • City elections in 2026: Mayor David Holt was re-elected on 2026-02-10 (city release 'Mayor David Holt re-elected in historic landslide'; third term from 2026-05-05 to 2030). No City of Oklahoma City offices are on the 2026-11-03 ballot. Next municipal election: February 2027 for Wards 2, 5, 6 and 8 (seats elected 2023; any runoff in April 2027) — exact date not verified from an official source. Wards 1, 3, 4 and 7 and the Mayor next in 2029/2030.
  • Robots/terms: oklahoma.gov (Allow: /), hosting.okelections.gov (robots.txt is a 404 page; no terms shown on the election list), filings.okelections.gov (403 to robots.txt; not used), www.okc.gov (403 Akamai; not bypassed), www.senate.gov and *.senate.gov (403 Akamai; not bypassed), oksenate.gov (Sucuri JS challenge; not run), www.okhouse.gov (robots.txt 404 - no restrictions), www.house.gov (allows /representatives), geocoding.geo.census.gov and tigerweb.geo.census.gov (public Census services). Photos are linked, not copied.
