Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • BLOCKED: www.sos.nh.gov answered robots.txt itself with an Akamai 'Access Denied' (HTTP 403), 2026-10-31; the City Clerk's Elections page links its sample ballots there (https://www.sos.nh.gov/elections/sample-ballots). www.governor.nh.gov answered robots.txt with the same Akamai 403. Not retried, no other UA or tool used. Consequently: no 2026-11-03 candidates are recorded, and no Governor row (Kelly Ayotte is reported as the sitting Governor; not confirmed on an official page this run). Jim: re-read the NH SOS 2026 general candidate list / Nashua Ward sample ballots to fill U.S. Senate, NH-2, Governor, SD-13 and Hillsborough 3 candidates.
  • The City Clerk's 'September 8, 2026 State Primary Results' (https://www.nashuanh.gov/DocumentCenter/View/36642, a 20-page scan of the ward Return of Votes forms) was opened: Ward 1 and Ward 2 Democratic returns list Governor Cinde Warmington (sole name), U.S. Senator Chris Pappas, Maxwell L. Saal, John Vail, David Jarvis, Karishma Manzur, Representative in Congress Maggie Goodlander and Paige Beauchemin, State Senator Carryl L. Roy (Wards 1-2), State Representatives Hillsborough 5 (Ward 1: Dale Swanson, Susan A. Elberger, Heather Raymond) and Hillsborough 4 (Ward 2: Linda Vandecar Ryan, Renae Lias, Camille Pattison). City-only primary returns do not show statewide winners and are not the certified general list, so none of these is recorded as running. Not all 20 pages were read.
  • Municipal: Mayor from /148/Mayors-Office (official mayor's-office email; portrait linked with its printed photo credit); 15 Aldermen (6 at-large, 9 ward) from /514/Board-of-Aldermen, retrieved 2026-10-31, with official emails and directory portraits (linked); the page prints phone numbers — not copied. Charter text on that page: '9 ward aldermen elected for a term of 2 years at every municipal election and 6 at-large aldermen elected for a term of 4 years, 3 of which are elected at each municipal election.' The City Clerk's official 4 November 2025 municipal results (/DocumentCenter/View/33691) declare at-large winners Amber Morgan, Alicia Gregg, Shoshanna Kelly and ward winners Chess (W1), Dowd, Klee, Lopez, Johnson, Smith, Sennott, Thibeault, Sullivan — all but Ward 1 match the directory (see Ravan's note). Non-partisan: party null. Next City of Nashua municipal election: November 2027 (all 9 ward seats, 3 at-large seats; Mayor — Donchess's term from the 2023 election; inferred, not read from a dated city calendar).
  • Districts: Census geocoder (robots 404) at City Hall: NH-2 (120th), State Senate 13, State House 'Hillsborough 03'. A 7x7 coordinate grid over 42.70-42.81 N, 71.56-71.42 W: 28 points inside 'Nashua city', all NH-2; Senate 12 (13 points) and 13 (15); House Hillsborough 03-11 (nine districts). Only City Hall's districts are recorded.
  • Sitting members: Senators Shaheen and Hassan from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (fetched 2026-10-31; senate.gov not used — Akamai 403 in earlier runs). NH-2 from house.gov/representatives (robots allows). SD-13 from the NH Senate roster (gc.nh.gov/senate/members/senate_roster.aspx); Hillsborough 3 House members (Beauchemin, Davis, Plamondon, all D, all 'Incumbent' status) from the General Court's members.txt download, which also prints members' home mailing addresses and phones — not copied; only official @gc.nh.gov emails kept. gc.nh.gov robots: Crawl-delay 11 honoured (one 404 at /senate/members/default.aspx).
  • No home addresses, phones or personal emails recorded. standsFor null throughout.
