Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Candidates (statewide only): U.S. Senate and Governor rows carried from us-dayton, which read the Butler County Board of Elections' official FWAB Election Notice (Form 120, prescribed by the Secretary of State; printed 10/02/2026) — statewide contests are identical in every county. The Allen County Board of Elections (boe.ohio.gov/allen) and the Ohio Secretary of State (ohiosos.gov) answer HTTP 403 (Cloudflare) even for robots.txt — not bypassed.
  • NOT CAPTURED — OH-4 and Ohio House HD-78 candidates, and the sitting SD-12 and HD-78 members. No official list was reachable: Allen County BOE and Ohio SOS behind Cloudflare; ohiohouse.gov and ohiosenate.gov did not answer (connection failure, 2026-11-01, as in earlier runs); vote.delawarecountyohio.gov also did not answer. A web search found only a prediction-market page naming Jim Jordan (R), Joshua Kolasinski (D) and Tracey Tackett (Ind.) for OH-4 — not an official list, not recorded. Fill from the Allen County BOE candidate list when reachable.
  • Districts: Census geocoder at City Hall (50 Town Square) gave OH-4 (120th), SD-12, HD-78. A 7x7 grid (17 points inside 'Lima city'): OH-4 on all (2026 and 119th maps), SD-12 on all, HD-78 on all.
  • Federal members: Senators Moreno and Husted from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (Husted's term to 2026-11-03, on the special-election ballot); Rep. Jim Jordan from house.gov/representatives and the CC0 file (term to 2027-01-03). Governor DeWine row carried from us-dayton/us-cleveland (Cuyahoga BOE elected-officials list).
  • Municipal: Mayor, Council President, seven ward Councilors, City Auditor and Law Director from www.limaohio.gov (City Council page 98, ward pages 434-442, Mayor 117, Auditor 89, Law Director 94), retrieved 2026-11-01. limaohio.gov robots.txt has a named group including ClaudeBot that disallows only admin/search/calendar/RSS-type paths; Crawl-delay 10 honoured. Official emails as printed (the Mayor's at cityhall.lima.oh.us); council phones and office addresses not copied. The City pages print no party. Council Clerk Dana Addis (appointed) not recorded. Ohio cities elect in odd years: the Mayor (first elected 2021, in her second term) was last on the 2025 ballot; no City of Lima office is on the 2026 ballot. Next municipal election: November 2027 (inferred; which seats not confirmed).
  • Hosts: geocoding.geo.census.gov, unitedstates.github.io (no robots.txt); house.gov, www.limaohio.gov (robots read, pages allowed). Blocked: boe.ohio.gov, ohiosos.gov (Cloudflare). Unreachable: ohiohouse.gov, ohiosenate.gov. standsFor null for everyone (City biographies are not campaign statements). No home addresses, phones or personal emails. One web search used for Lima.
