Notes on this record
How the lists were read, and what could not be.
- Scope: the /local record covers the Tri-Cities (Pasco-Richland-Kennewick); this record uses KENNEWICK as the anchor city (the region id), its city hall for districts and its council for the municipal block. Pasco and Richland councils are NOT included (Pasco City Hall may fall in a different legislative district).
- Municipal: Kennewick City Council page (go2kennewick.com/531/City-Council), retrieved 2026-10-31: seven members, each with seat and "Term Expires" date; official @ci.kennewick.wa.us addresses as printed; phone numbers NOT copied. Council-Manager city; the Mayor is chosen by the Council for two years. Non-partisan. Next City election: Washington general election November 2, 2027 (VoteWA lists GENERAL 2027 (11/02/2027)); seats with terms ending December 31, 2027 (At Large Positions 5, 6, 7) would be up — inferred from the printed terms, not read on an official election page. Whether any City of Kennewick measure is on the 2026 ballot was not checked (Benton County Elections not read).
- Candidates: Washington SOS VoteWA Candidate List, GENERAL 2026 (11/03/2026), https://voter.votewa.gov/CandidateList.aspx?e=899 (robots.txt 404 = no rules), retrieved 2026-10-31: the certified top-two finalists, all "Active". Party = stated party preference as printed. The list prints mailing addresses, phones and emails — none copied. WA-4: Amanda McKinney (REPUBLICAN), John Duresky (DEMOCRATIC); Dan Newhouse is not on it. LD-8 Senate: Nikki Torres and Gabe Galbraith (both REPUBLICAN); Pos. 1 Stephanie Barnard and Pos. 2 April Connors are the only candidates (unopposed). Write-ins and primary losers excluded.
- Federal: Newhouse from house.gov/representatives; Murray and Cantwell from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json. Governor Ferguson row carried over from the us-spokane record. LD-8 roster from leg.wa.gov/legislators (robots 404): Senator Matt Boehnke, Representatives Stephanie Barnard and April Connors (Republican). Member photos exist but were not linked (thumbnail ids could not be matched to names reliably).
- Districts: Census geocoder at Kennewick city hall (46.2087, -119.1372): CD-4, LD-8 (Senate and House). Not point-sampled across the city or the Tri-Cities.
- go2kennewick.com: CivicPlus robots names ClaudeBot in an AI-crawler group with path rules only; 10-second gap kept. Nothing blocked. No home addresses, phones or personal emails; standsFor null for everyone.
