Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Municipal: Mayor from greenbaywi.gov/200/Mayor; twelve Alderpersons from the Common Council page (/617/Common-Council) and each alderperson's own page (official @greenbaywi.gov addresses decoded from the Cloudflare email links; the personal-looking phone numbers printed on those pages NOT copied); Municipal Court Judge from /497/Municipal-Court; all retrieved 2026-10-31. The City's "Elected Officials" page lists exactly these: Common Council, Mayor, Municipal Court Judge. Wisconsin municipal offices are non-partisan. No Council President is marked on the alder pages.
  • Municipal election: the City Clerk's Voters page lists only one remaining 2026 date, November 3, 2026 ("US House of Representatives, Governor, other WI State Executive Offices, Wisconsin State Assembly, Wisconsin State Senate") — no city offices. Green Bay elects Mayor and Alderpersons at the Wisconsin spring election in April; the Brown County sample-ballot index lists spring ballots for April 7, 2026 and April 1, 2025. Next city election: the spring election of April 6, 2027 (statutory first Tuesday in April) — which city seats are up then was not read on an official page.
  • Districts: city hall (coordinates 44.5133, -88.0167) geocodes to CD-8, State Senate District 30, Assembly District 90 (Census geocoder, 2026 state legislative layers). The Brown County November sample-ballot file shows City of Green Bay wards in Assembly Districts 90 (most of the east side and downtown), 89 (west side wards 27-47), 88 (wards 11, 12a, 48) and 4 (ward 45); one page for ward 1 also carries an AD-1/SD-1 contest, which may belong to another municipality printed on the same page. Only city hall's SD-30 and AD-90 members are recorded.
  • Federal: Tony Wied (R, Wisconsin 8th) from house.gov/representatives (robots allows). Senators and Governor/Lt Governor rows carried over from the us-madison record (read 2026-10-22 from @unitedstates CC0 data and evers.wi.gov). State legislators from docs.legis.wisconsin.gov 2025 member lists (robots allows /2025/legislators); official @legis.wisconsin.gov emails only; Capitol phones and the "Voting Address" lines on those lists NOT copied.
  • Candidates: Brown County Clerk official sample ballots for the November 3, 2026 Partisan Office and Referendum election (PDF, all wards). City of Green Bay ballots: WI-8 Tony Wied (Republican) v Rick Crosson (Democratic); Governor/Lt Governor Tiffany/Varnam (Republican) v Crowley/Godlewski (Democratic); AD-90 Jessica Henderson (Republican) v Amaad Rivera-Wagner (Democratic, sitting member). Write-in lines skipped. AD-88, AD-89 and AD-4 contests and county offices are on the same file but not recorded as people; statewide Attorney General / Secretary of State / Treasurer contests not recorded.
  • Robots/terms: www.greenbaywi.gov (CivicPlus robots names ClaudeBot in an AI-crawler group with path rules only; "*" group sets Crawl-delay 10 — a 10-second gap was kept between every request); www.browncountywi.gov (robots.txt empty — no rules); docs.legis.wisconsin.gov, www.house.gov (paths allowed); geocoding.geo.census.gov (robots 404). Nothing blocked on this place. greenbaywi.gov has a "Copyright Notices" page that was not read; only facts recorded, no photos linked, no bio text. standsFor null for everyone.
