- Federal and state candidates from the California SOS Official Certified List of Candidates for the November 3, 2026 General Election (certified 8/27/2026; fetched 2026-10-31; text layer read; '*' marks incumbents on the list). elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov answers robots.txt with an S3 'AccessDenied' 403 (no rules served); the PDF itself returned 200. Only Governor is recorded among statewide offices, per the US brief.
- Districts: Census geocoder (2026 legislative and 120th Congress layers). City Hall (-121.5720, 37.0049) = Gilroy city / CD-18 / SD-15 / AD-29; samples (-121.61, 37.01), (-121.585, 37.04), (-121.56, 36.99) give the same districts. No polygon overlay.
- Municipal officeholders from the SOS California Roster 2026 'Incorporated Cities and Town Officials' (City of Gilroy entry; data supplied by the cities; PDF modified 2026-10-06; robots.txt on admin.cdn.sos.ca.gov is an S3 403).
