Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Region check: local/data/us-frederick.json is Frederick, Maryland (centre 39.4304,-77.4183).
  • Municipal: Mayor from https://www.cityoffrederickmd.gov/520/Office-of-the-Mayor and the seven Council Members from https://www.cityoffrederickmd.gov/122/City-Council (retrieved 2026-10-31): 'Frederick has a seven-member City Council, with two At-Large Council Members representing the entire City, and one Council Member representing each of the five Districts. The City Council for the 64th Administration was sworn in on December 11, 2025.' Official @cityoffrederickmd.gov emails as printed; phones not copied; portraits linked from the City image repository. Municipal ballot treated as non-partisan here (party null) — the city's 2025 election had party primaries, but the council page prints no party.
  • City elections: the 2025 Mayoral and City Council election was certified November 12, 2025 (https://www.cityoffrederickmd.gov/1865/2025-Election-News-and-Results). No City office on the 2026-11-03 ballot; next city election 2029 (four-year terms) — inferred, not read from a city calendar.
  • Districts: Census Geocoder at City Hall gave CD-6 (120th), State Senate District 3, State Legislative District 3 (2026 layers). A 7x7 coordinate grid over 39.37-39.48 N, 77.35-77.48 W gave 23 points inside "Frederick city", all in CD-6 / SD-3 / LD-3. A point sample, not a polygon intersect.
  • State legislators from the Maryland General Assembly member indexes (/mgawebsite/Members/Index/senate and /house) and detail pages (young04, fair01, kerr01, simpson01), retrieved 2026-10-31; official senate/house.maryland.gov emails; photos linked from /2026RS/images/. Federal senators, MD-6 and the Governor/Lt. Governor tickets carried from us-hagerstown (same contests).
  • Candidates: Maryland SBE 2026 Gubernatorial General Election State Candidates List (HTML 'Last updated: 10/16/2026 06:00:PM' and CSV 2026_GG_statewide_candidatelist.csv), retrieved 2026-10-31. Only 'Active' Regular/Federal/Party Designated/Central Committee filings recorded; withdrawn, declined and write-in filings excluded. Senate 3: Lewis Young D*, Aloi R. Delegates 3 (vote for three): Fair D*, Kerr D*, Simpson D*, McIntosh R. Comptroller and Attorney General are on the ballot but not recorded as people. The list prints campaign mailing addresses, phones and personal-provider emails — none copied.
  • Not recorded: Frederick County Executive/Council, Board of Education, judges. standsFor null throughout (no candidate statements read).
  • Robots/terms: www.cityoffrederickmd.gov robots.txt has a group naming ClaudeBot (disallows admin/search/calendar/RSS paths only; the * group sets Crawl-delay 10, observed in spirit with 3 s spacing on three page requests). elections.maryland.gov allows /elections/2026/; mgaleg.maryland.gov and geocoding.geo.census.gov have no robots.txt (404). Nothing blocked.
