Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Municipal: City of Fargo City Commission members page (retrieved 2026-10-31) — commission form of government; 'The Mayor and four Commissioners are elected at large', four-year terms. Mayor Josh Boschee (term expires June 2030), Deputy Mayor John Strand (June 2028), Commissioners Nikkie Gullickson (June 2030), Chad Peterson (June 2030), Michelle Turnberg (June 2028). Phone numbers on the page not copied; emails are contact forms (none recorded). The city Elections & Voting page lists the same expiries; city elections are administered by the Cass County Finance Office. Next City of Fargo election: June 2028 (Strand and Turnberg seats) — inferred from the term expiries; Fargo city elections are held with the June primary.
  • Federal: Senators and Rep. Fedorchak from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (fetched 2026-10-31). Neither ND Senate seat is up in 2026 (Hoeven class 3, Cramer class 1).
  • Candidates: North Dakota SOS '2026 General Election Contest/Candidate List' (vip.sos.nd.gov/candidatelist.aspx?eid=348; the eid was found by trying adjacent ids, page titles checked) read via its own public contest search (form POST, no login/terms). Representative in Congress: Julie Fedorchak (Republican), Trygve Hammer (Democratic-NPL), Helene Neville (independent nomination), Charles Tuttle (independent nomination). The list prints each candidate's mailing address and phone — NOT copied; emails are obfuscated and not recorded; campaign websites as printed kept. • State: District 44 members from ndlegis.gov/districts/2025-2032/district-44 (Senator Jamie Selzler, active 8/5/2026 after Josh Boschee resigned 8/4/2026; Representatives Austin Foss and Karla Rose Hanson; all Democrat). Governor Kelly Armstrong and Lt. Gov. Michelle Strinden named on governor.nd.gov (2024 election; not up). How many legislative districts cover Fargo was not sampled (several, all in Cass County).
