Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Municipal: coloradosprings.gov's robots.txt (Drupal 'Additional crawler policy') names ~140 agents including ClaudeBot, Claude-User, Claude-Web, Claude-SearchBot and anthropic-ai with 'Disallow: /'. Honoured: no City page was fetched, and nothing was retried with another User-Agent. The 9 council members (Districts 1-6 and three At-Large) come instead from Colorado Springs Utilities' Utilities Board page (csu.org, robots allows; retrieved 2026-10-22), which states that City Council serves as the Utilities Board. The Mayor (Yemi Mobolade) is on no official page that could be read and is marked unofficial:true (CPR/KRDO news). No council photos or emails recorded.
  • Next municipal election: April 6, 2027 (Mayor and three At-Large council seats), per a search-result snippet of coloradosprings.gov/voterinfo — the page itself was not opened (robots). Same snippet says El Paso County Clerk and Recorder conducts the 2026 June primary and November general. District seats 1-6 were elected April 2025. No municipal candidate contest on the November 2026 ballot was found.
  • Districts: Census TIGERweb (tigerWMS_Current) Incorporated Place 0816000 polygon intersected with the 120th Congressional Districts and 2026 state legislative layers: CO-5 only; State Senate 9, 10, 11, 12, 35; State House 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 56 (intersect may include boundary-touching districts). City Hall (107 N Nevada Ave) geocodes to CO-5, SD-11 and HD-18; only City Hall's legislators are recorded as people.
  • Federal: U.S. Senators and CO-5 term dates from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json; Crank also from house.gov/representatives (Colorado table). No photos linked.
  • State: Exum (SD-11) and Paschal (HD-18) from the leg.colorado.gov legislator list (official coleg.gov emails as printed; capitol phones not copied). Governor Polis and Lt. Governor Primavera from the SOS 2022 official abstract; governor.colorado.gov did not respond.
  • Candidates: Colorado SOS '2026 General Election Official Candidate List' (HTML table; 'certified to the counties on September 4'; 'updated September 15, 2026, 11:09 AM'), retrieved 2026-10-22. Captured: U.S. Senate, CO-5, Governor, Lt. Governor, SD-11, HD-18. Excluded: certified write-ins (3 for U.S. Senate, 1 for CO-5: Steven Fuller) and struck-through names (none in scope). Joint Governor/Lt. Governor tickets are one row each, pairing in notes. 'Unaffiliated' recorded as party null, partyShort 'Independent'. Incumbent-running: Hickenlooper, Crank (CO-5), Exum (SD-11), Paschal (HD-18). Open: Governor, Lt. Governor. No contest in scope is unopposed.
  • Robots/terms: coloradosos.gov (robots allows /pubs/), leg.colorado.gov (allows member pages; disallows /rails/ and /active_storage/ where photos live), house.gov (allowed), csu.org (allows; no reuse terms stated on the page), unitedstates.github.io (CC0), geocoding.geo.census.gov (robots 404), tigerweb.geo.census.gov (REST query answered). Blocked/not used: coloradosprings.gov (robots disallows Claude agents), ppacg.org (robots.txt returned HTTP 403), governor.colorado.gov (no response), dola.colorado.gov/lgis (404). No home addresses, phones or personal emails recorded. standsFor null for everyone. One row is unofficial (the Mayor).
