Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Municipal: Mayor from /Your-Government/Mayor (official mayor@cheyennecity.org kept; phone and fax printed — not copied); nine council members, three per ward, from /Your-Government/City-Council/City-Council-Members, retrieved 2026-10-31 (only the shared allcitycouncilmembers@ address is printed). City Council page: "nine members elected on a non-partisan basis. Three Council persons are elected from each of the three wards ... staggered four-year terms"; Mayor "elected at-large for a four-year term". Municipal Elections page: "This election year three (3) City Council seats (one from each Ward) will be filled"; primary Aug 18, general Nov 3, 2026. Which Ward 1 and Ward 2 incumbent holds the expiring seat is not printed; none of them is on the 2026 roster, so Wards 1 and 2 are open. Mayor next elected November 2028 (inferred from the four-year term; Collins took office 2021) — not read from an official calendar.
  • Candidates: Wyoming Secretary of State 2026 General Election Candidate Roster PDF (printed Wednesday, September 09, 2026) for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor and State Representative 11; Laramie County Clerk 2026 General Election Candidate Roster — Municipal Offices (Non-Partisan), FINAL (PDF created 2026-09-07; "Candidates for municipal offices are certified by the city/town clerk") for City Council. Both rosters print mailing/home addresses and phones — none copied. Emails kept only where plainly campaign (campaign domain or a campaign-named address); personal-looking addresses left null. Write-ins skipped. Laramie County also posts legislative, county and district rosters (not read).
  • Districts: Census geocoder (robots 404) at the Municipal Building: WY at-large; 2026 State Senate District 8; State House District 11. Other districts cover the rest of the city (not grid-sampled); only City Hall's are recorded.
  • Sitting members: Hageman from house.gov/representatives; Senators Lummis and Barrasso from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (senate.gov not used). SD-8 and HD-11 from the Wyoming Legislature's member-list JSON (web.wyoleg.gov/LsoService/api/legislator/2026/S and /H — the data source of wyoleg.gov/Legislators); official @wyoleg.gov emails, photos linked; the JSON also carries address/phone fields — not copied. Note: web.wyoleg.gov was requested once before its robots.txt was checked (it is a 404, no rules) — recorded for honesty. Governor from governor.wyo.gov (/robots.txt answers with the site's HTML shell, i.e. no robots file).
  • Not recorded: Laramie County offices, Laramie County School District 1 board, judges. standsFor null for everyone (no candidate statements read).
