Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • Candidates: Pennsylvania Department of State 'Candidate Database' (pavoterservices.pa.gov/ElectionInfo/ElectionInfo.aspx, linked from pa.gov Running for Office; read 2026-11-01; no robots.txt, 404). The page embeds every 2026 General Election filing (1,298 rows) with party, status (Approved/Withdrawn) and 'PrimaryResult'. A row is recorded as running only when Approved and either PrimaryResult 'true' (primary nominee) or a 'Paper' nomination (minor party). Approved petition filers with PrimaryResult 'false' are treated as primary losers and skipped (PA-7 Democrats Carol Obando-Derstine, Lamont G McClure, Ryan Robert Crosswell; Lt Gov Republican John Ventre; HD-22 Democrat Ana Tiburcio). Withdrawn: Green Governor ticket Anthony James Dastra/Craig Joseph Bolton and PA-7 Green Andrew Tupone. The database's 'Municipality' column (candidate residence) was not copied. The list prints no date; DOS says it may change.
  • HD-22: sitting member Ana Tiburcio (D, on the palegis.us House member list read 2026-11-01) is not the Democratic nominee; DOS also hosts an 'Official List of Candidates Special Election Representative 22nd' PDF for 2026 (found by search, not read). Her row is 'elected' only.
  • MUNICIPAL - NOT REACHED: www.allentownpa.gov (and allentownpa.gov, http and https) timed out on the robots.txt request itself (TCP connect timeout, 2026-11-01), so no City page (Mayor, Council, City Controller, City Clerk) was read. www.lehighcounty.org answered robots.txt with an Imperva/Incapsula block page (HTTP 403), so the county's election results and candidate PDFs were not read either. Nothing was retried with another UA, tool or mirror. No municipal rows are recorded.
  • Allentown municipal - news/search snippets only, NOT used for any row (verify on allentownpa.gov): Mayor Matt Tuerk began a second term in January 2026; at the January 2026 reorganization council elected Santo Napoli president and Cynthia Mota vice president; Mota and Natalie Santos began their fourth and second terms; newcomers Cristian Pungo and Jeremy Binder replaced Daryl Hendricks and Ed Zucal (lehighvalleynews.com 'A night to celebrate: New Allentown City Council members take seats, mayor sworn in for 2nd term'). Allentown has a seven-member at-large council and an elected City Controller.
  • Next City of Allentown municipal election: November 2, 2027 (Pennsylvania municipal elections are in odd years) - the council seats won in 2023 are up then.
  • Districts (Census geocoder Current_Current: 120th Congress, 2026 state legislative lines): City Hall 435 W Hamilton St (-75.46675, 40.60367) = PA-7, SD-14, HD-22. 8x8 grid over 40.555-40.645 N, 75.415-75.545 W, 20 points inside 'Allentown city': PA-7 on all; SD-14 on 19 and SD-16 on 1; HD-22 (7), HD-134 (7), HD-132 (6). Only City Hall's state seats are people rows; SD-16 member not recorded.
  • Sitting members: Senators from the CC0 @unitedstates legislators-current.json (senate.gov 403 to robots.txt in earlier rounds, not retried); Mackenzie from house.gov/representatives (robots allows); Miller and Tiburcio from palegis.us Senate/House member lists (robots disallows only /cfdocs/ and bills for a UserWay UA); Governor/Lt Governor carried from us-scranton (pa.gov). District offices, phones and addresses on palegis.us not copied. standsFor null for everyone (no candidate statements read). Write-ins and primary losers excluded.
