Notes on this record

How the lists were read, and what could not be.

  • BLOCKED: vilnius.lt (and www., aktai., maps., opendata., api. subdomains), vrk.lt / www.vrk.lt / rezultatai.vrk.lt, e-seimas.lrs.lt, e-tar.lt / www.e-tar.lt and www.rinkejopuslapis.lt all returned a Cloudflare 'Just a moment…' challenge (HTTP 403) to robots.txt itself — not bypassed. lrvalstybe.lt (which mirrors municipal contact lists) has a robots.txt that disallows ClaudeBot outright and disallows all subpaths for '*', so it was not used.
  • Municipal: the 51-member council (Vilniaus miesto savivaldybės taryba, elected 2023-03-05) and the deputy mayors (vicemerai) are NOT recorded — the City's own member list is behind Cloudflare and no tier-B list exists (lt.wikipedia 'Vilniaus miesto savivaldybės taryba 2023–2027 m.' is a red link; the parent article only gives outdated faction counts). Re-run when vilnius.lt/lt/savivaldybe/taryba can be read. Mayor Valdas Benkunskas (TS-LKD) taken from lt.wikipedia (tier B, unofficial). Vilnius has 21 seniūnijos (elderates) whose elders are appointed, not elected; only the city-wide body applies.
  • Next election: 2027-03-07 municipal council and mayoral elections (date per LRT report of 2026-10-19 citing the VRK; the Seimas resolution on e-seimas could not be read). No official candidate list is published yet (VRK registration not reachable), so no candidates recorded. Later: Seimas general election October 2028; presidential election 2029.
  • Provincial: none. Lithuania's 10 counties (apskritys) have had no administration or elected assembly since 2010; Vilnius sits in Vilniaus apskritis, a statistical unit only.
  • Federal: Seimas has 141 seats — 71 single-member constituencies (incl. 'Pasaulio lietuvių' for voters abroad) and 70 elected on one nationwide list. Only the city-hall constituency MP is recorded. Single-member constituencies named for Vilnius city neighbourhoods on the Seimas by-constituency list (2024–2028, retrieved 2026-10-21): Antakalnio — Ingrida Šimonytė (TS-LKD); Naujamiesčio–Vilkpėdės — Žygimantas Pavilionis (TS-LKD); Naujininkų–Rasų — Artūras Zuokas (Mišri Seimo narių grupė); Naujosios Vilnios — Liutauras Kazlavickas (TS-LKD); Pašilaičių — Eugenijus Gentvilas (Liberalų sąjūdis); Pilaitės–Karoliniškių — Vytautas Sinica (Mišri Seimo narių grupė); Senamiesčio–Žvėryno — Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen (Liberalų sąjūdis); Šeškinės–Šnipiškių — Mindaugas Lingė (TS-LKD); Verkių — Dainius Kreivys (TS-LKD); Žirmūnų — Paulė Kuzmickienė (TS-LKD). Constituency boundaries vs the city limit could not be checked (VRK blocked); some suburban/district constituencies (e.g. Riešės, Nemenčinės, Vilniaus pietinė, Šalčininkų–Vilniaus, Nalšios pietinė) may touch the municipality's edge. The by-constituency page lists 68 members under 'Daugiamandatė' at retrieval.

Terms (p_r=35577): content © Seimo kanceliarija, all rights reserved; Seimas photographs need the Chancellery's consent, so no MP photo is linked.
  • European Parliament: Lithuania elects 11 MEPs in a single nationwide constituency (no sub-national constituencies); official list https://www.europarl.europa.eu/meps/en/search/advanced?countryCode=LT (not fetched). No MEPs added.
